As a result of enormous growth and high demand for products across the U.S., HMT has expanded its customer service and sales support with the launch of a new office in Pittsburgh, PA.
Based in the Steel City, the new location will drive operations across the Northeast, assisting distributors with training, technical support and product promotion, whilst providing end-users with dedicated customer service and product guidance.
Central to the team are its newest members Kamila Christian and Latisha Robinson.
Kamila is welcomed in her new role of Inside Sales Manager in which she will employ her considerable sales strategy, conflict resolution and relationship-building skills. For the last 7 years, she has been growing her knowledge in technical sales in the metalworking industry and applying the leadership expertise she now brings to HMT USA.
Meanwhile, Latisha brings 20 years of experience dealing with customers from varying industries to her new role as a Customer Service Associate. Specializing in interpersonal skills, she uses her expertise to deliver top-tier customer service and experience.
Centered around HMT’s core values of: Innovating, Specializing, Optimizing, Being Agile and Being Nice, the Pittsburgh team will help enhance communication between customers and our technical support team, allowing HMT to better understand customer needs whilst cultivating new and existing relationships with our distributors.
This has already been put into practice with the on-boarding of a new distributor minutes from the Pittsburgh office and successful application to join GAWDA – the Gases and welding distributors association.
This new partnership will help HMT further promote safety and increased productivity within the metalworking industry.
